After School Clubs
We have a range of clubs delivered by teachers, support staff and outside agencies. We aim these clubs at the interests of our children and these change termly and are always all free of charge.
Our clubs allow children to experience activities such as gardening, sewing, mindfulness, yoga and football as well as develop friendships, team and social skills.
Lunchtime and breaktime enrichment
We have two areas set aside for football and these are timetabled through the week so that all Y3-Y6 children have the opportunity to play football with their friends. Our younger children also have access to this and thisis organised by their class teachers and teaching assistants.
There are basketball hoops on the front playground plus a climbing frame so those who want to be active have lots of opportunitites!
Some children prefer a quieter lunch or break time and so we have a Reading Lodge on both of our playgrounds. These have a selection of books and comfy cushions to sit on while children read. There are also a number of tables and benches so they can sit, read or chat outside too.
Our children are also able to access a Lunchtime Club daily, which is run by our Learning mentors, Mrs Moore and Miss Mogg. This takes place in a room inside school and children can play games, draw and chat and develop friendships and social skills.
