Covid-19 Update: Important Information

Welcome to our school

‘Jesus holds my hand and guides me on my way’

Dear Parents and carers

We are delighted to welcome all our children back on Thursday September the 3rd 2020.  There is a detailed letter explaining how children will be brought back into school on the website for you to read. We need to continue being vigilant and adhering to social distancing rules and to this end we ask that parents do not enter the school building, unless absolutely necessary and all communication should be through phone or zoom. It is everyone’s responsibility to keep  our children and ourselves  as safe as we can from the virus.

To minimize the numbers on site please allow your child to walk into school by themselves and join their class, unless you have a KS1 or foundation stage child. If however you need to walk onto site there will be a designated waiting area for parents. It will take longer than usual to get on and off site so please build this into your morning /afterschool schedule, of minimum 20 mins. There will be staff on duty to welcome and direct the children

The school has been transformed during Covid, and all classrooms have been fully painted, fully carpeted and re- organised. The playgrounds have all had new markings and we have a fabulous foundation stage unit which has been completely revamped. The archdiocese has funded all of this work in our school in odrer to improve the working environment for our children.

The staff have worked extremely hard preparing  the environment for the childrens’ return and we look forward to seeing all our children and families soon.

Kind regards

Ms Armstrong
